We're delighted to announce that the winner of this year's Royal Automobile Club Historic Awards is the Series 1 Land Rover Chassis 860001 which was completed on 19 July 1948. It is the first-ever official production Land Rover and is known as JUE 477.
Huge congratulations to Julian Shoolheifer and his team who did such an amazing job on the preservation! We were very honoured to be asked to help with this sensitive restoration. We were tasked with straightening the body panels. From it's unveiling at Concours of Elegance last summer to this win it has been a pleasure to have been able to be involved in this little piece of history.
