This years Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace was the setting for the unveiling of JUE477. The first ever production Land Rover from 1948. Since being found it has undergone a very careful preservation restoration by Julian Shoolheifer Ltd. We were honoured to be tasked with straightening the body panels whilst retaining the patina. This was both a challenge and a pleasure. Seeing the finished article at Concours this weekend was fantastic and to top it off it won best 1940's car. Full details of this remarkable preservation of possibly one of the most significant vehicles in automotive history can be found in a new book JUE477 by Martin Port.
